Obituary of John Cosentino

~~John Cosentino, 51 years old of Elmont, NY and Wellington, FL passed away on Friday, October 6th, 2017.  John had also lived in Saratoga, NY for many years. He was born on January 13th, 1966 in Hempstead, NY to Diane (Haug) Cosentino and the late John Salvatore Cosentino. He was a beloved grandson and preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy and Emil Haug Jr. and Florence and Salvatore Cosentino. John is survived by his sister, Theresa Levi and brother in law Gregg Levi of Wellington, FL and was also a loving uncle to Joshua, Jordan and Ethan Levi. John will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless numbers of dear friends.

John was a longtime horseman in New York and Florida where he worked at Aqueduct, Belmont, Saratoga and Gulfstream racetracks and Palm Meadows Thoroughbred Training Center. His love of horses began at the age of 12 and became a lifelong passion for him. John will be deeply missed by many who knew him throughout the years as Pony Boy John.  He was an amazing man who touched many lives and was loved by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held in New York and Florida.

New York – Monday, October 23rd, 2017 at Krauss Funeral Home located at 1097 Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.  A service will begin at 6:30 PM.

Florida – Monday, November 6th, 2017 at Palms West Funeral Home located at 110 Business Parkway in Royal Palm Beach from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.  A service will begin at 7:00 PM
