Obituary of Robert T Trick

Robert T. Trick 09/25/28-11/06/20 Robert known to many as Bob, a longtime resident of Franklin Square and formally of Richmond Hill, Queens passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2020 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of Anita Trick(deceased, nee Kissinger). Devoted and loving father of Kathleen Kucich (John), Linda Fleury (Thomas), Mary DiBitonto (John), Robert W. Trick (Jean Marie), and his beloved cat and best friend Tiger. Cherished Grandpa to Brian and Caitlin Fleury and Charlotte and Audrey Trick. Robert was a former proud member of the Merchant Marines. He also was a retired NYPD Detective. He went on to become Director of Security for both Loeb, Rhoads and Company and then Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in downtown NYC. Bob was also an Honorary member of the Sons of Italy as well as the Brooklyn Schuetzen Corps. in Franklin Square. He loved spending time in his later years enjoying a good meal and a few drinks and some great conversation at the Plattdeutche in Franklin Square. He had an honorary reserved seat at the inside bar. Bob was loved by all who met him and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a gift for story telling, loved to laugh and reminisce about the good ol’ days. Please raise a glass in his honor, preferably Jameson Whiskey and make a toast in his name. Rest peacefully Dad, Mom is waiting for you up there.
