The family of Manohar & Ramdasie Persaud ( Powah Renee) extend their heartfelt condolences to the Chiranjee Antooa family.
It was a great honor to have had this wonderful soul in this large family. She was always so very warm and cordial whenever she was approached. You felt the love and the grace that she carried with her throughout her life.
My mother, speaks very highly of her. She taught her to "cook and do work" and whenever Betty high standards was not reached; you would have to redo the washing of the bhartan or the sweeping or the floor.
As we lose another of these many wonderful souls from the family, the question is often asked who is there to replace them. We shall hopefully find others.
A funeral home is where we all have to come to leave all that we gathered throughout this life. Nothing came with us when we arrived and nothing is going with us when we leave.
Rabindranauth Tagare said : "The child cries out when from the right breast the mother takes it away, in the very next moment to find in the left one its consolation." So it is in death, the same unknown will be presented and I shall love death as well; because just as that instant when the child was taken from the right, it felt deprieved but was given the left and felt consoled in the next instant, so it appears is the space between LIFE and DEATH. The Atma never dies, it lives on and on.
The soul of Chiranjee Antooa will forever live on and her memory will also be, with those still living, forever.
