Dear Son - April 19, 2022
When I Lost You
I wish I could see you one more time,
come walking through the door....
But I know that is impossible,
I will hear your voice no more.
I know you can feel my tears and you
don't want me to cry, yet my heart is
broken because I can't understand
why someone so precious had to die.
I pray that God will give me strength
and somehow get me through...
as I struggle with the heartache
that came When I Lost You.
Forever in my heart
Mom

Please consider posting this as Mario's obituary.
Thank you. Mario's Mom
Mario Ferrer, Jr. who has gone before us, was called home to Jesus at 57 years of age. He was the only beloved son of Monsie and Mario Ferrer Sr.
Mario attended St. Vincent de Paul School through eighth grade. He was an altar boy at St. Vincent de Paul Church. He was also St. Vincent's first Catholic Eagle scout.
Mario attended Chaminade High School and after graduating, he moved to Puerto Rico and lived there for ten years.
Mario worked as a benefits manager where his strength was in helping others. Recently, he hadn't worked in five years after and injury, but he dealt with his illnesses with grace.
Mario was happily married to Jan for eighteen years. He was a down to earth man who enjoyed a good cup of Starbucks coffee, watching WWE wrestling with his son Francesco, and his beloved Yankees. Mario was a special person, and was truly courageous, wonderful, caring loving man, who was one of a kind and who will be missed by his wife Jan, mother, Monsie and father, Mario, Sr. , sons Mario Roberto and Francesco, and granddaughter Jennymar and the rest of his family and friends.
No hill was too steep for him to climb, he was committed to his principles and filled every room that he entered. Family always came first, he was always there to help, and he had no fear. There are no words big enough to describe how he was loved, how he loved others, and how much he will be missed.

Loving Memories of a Special Son
To lose someone so special is really hard to bear,
it really seems believable that you're no longer there.
You left us far too early before your time, it seems and now you'll never have the chance to fulfil all those dreams.
However hard it is though we'll take comfort in the thought of all the memories we have and the happiness you brought.
You always lived life to the full but ours won't be the same until the day when we can see your smiling face again.
Forever in my heart. Mom
