When I first met Joe, I knew immediately we would be friends for life. Since we came from the same era and Italian background, we had so much in common and shared great stories, him being from Astoria and me from Brooklyn. Whenever Joe told a story, he would say "wait it gets better" and it always did. No matter where we went, Joe would bring laughter and happiness. Even though Joe and I didn't see each other as much as we would have liked, we still kept in touch especially during the holidays and I cherish
all those great memories. Love you Joe.

To Our Dear Friend Joe,
I can only say God only takes the best. You were such a wonderful and caring friend to my husband right to the end. I will never forget your phone calls and the kind words. You were a person I could talk to and cry to, you always understood. Bless you Joe and rest in peace.
Love, Anita DeVincenzo (Tony D's wife)

Uncle Joe was a great storyteller with a big heart and instantly made whatever room he walked into a more fun place.
I remember all the Christmases and Thanksgivings we spent together. I remember all the football games we used to watch with Grandpa Tony. Those are some of my best childhood memories and I'm so glad he was apart of that.
Like many, I will miss him greatly and hope somewhere up in heaven he's enjoying grandma's cooking and arguing about a Giants-Cowboys game with grandpa.
RIP Uncle Joe. I love you.
