Veronica was a close friend for many, many years. She was a warm and caring, I will miss our birthday celebrations that we spent together every year. I was away in Ireland when I heard of her passing. I will miss you and know that your faith will always keep you at peace. My heart goes out to all of your family.

Veronica Allocca was my Mother. She offered me a home when I got electrocuted and had nobody to care for me. She raised a wonderful son named Vincent who stands by me in good times and bad.
She was the wisest woman I know when it came to politics, the world, human beings, practical day-to-day issues, and people in general. She had a wicked sense of humor and a true sense of what was reasonable. She helped me with forgiveness.
I will continue to talk to you Mrs. Allocca until I meet you again.
Love
Dean

Do they celebrate Birthday’s in Heaven?
Knowing Veronica they will. How lucky was I to have worked with both Fr. Tom and Veronica Allocca. She was the official gate keeper, we often joked. Veronica was a great sounding board, whenever I needed an honest and direct opinion, she was my “Go To” friend. Veronica was truly heroic in her battle against cancer, when asked how she was doing, she would often brush it off and give a quick statement then move on to how we and our families were doing. We all knew that her love of God and her faith brought her that quiet strength. It’s been stated that “to live in hearts we leave behind, Is not to die.” Veronica will always be with me, and yes, no doubt that every day in Heaven is a HAPPY BIRTHDAY now that Veronica Allocca is there!
Rest in PEACE my dear friend.
