Obituary for MaryAnn Hansen

It is with a heavy heart that we advise of the passing of our Mother, MaryAnn Hansen, 75 years of age, of Franklin Square, New York. She died suddenly in her home on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born August 5, 1942 to the late G. Thomas and Mary (Polenchalk) Risi.

MaryAnn had a great passion for sewing and needlework, she was an ex-president of the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and attended Saint Catherine’s of Sienna Roman Catholic Church in Franklin Square, New York. She recently retired after more than 20 years, from MagnaCare.

MaryAnn leaves behind her sons Edward T. Hansen and Gary (Debra) Hansen both of Franklin Square, NY. She is preceded in death by her Husband Edward C. Hansen and her brother, Thomas Risi.

Services will be held from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM on Monday, April 16 at Krauss Funeral Home in Franklin Square, NY. Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 9:30 AM at St. Catherine’s of Sienna Church in Franklin Square. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, NY.

Mom will be missed by us all.
