Obituary of Waltraud Simmonds

Simmonds, Waltraud aka “Wally” on March 14, 2018 at age 83.She was born in Cuxhaven , Germany in 1934. She emigrated to America in 1954, where she met and married Gunther Keuhn. They had two sons Ralph and Peter. After her husband passed away she met and married Daniel G. Simmonds. Wally was the first woman President of the Plattdeutsche Volksvest and the first woman to be an Officer of the Plattdeutsche Home Society. She survived by her beloved husband Dan , her loving sons Ralph and Peter and her cherished sister Christel Scholl in Cuxhaven. Reposing at Krauss Funeral Home inc. 1097 Hempstead Tpke., Franklin Square. Visiting Hours: Monday 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Religious Service: Monday 8pm at Krauss. Funeral Prayers:Tuesday 10am at Krauss.
