Vanessa,
You were taken from us way too quickly. Although I did not know you personally, my heart aches for the way you were snatched from us. Such promises that lay ahead before you, with graduation in 2 months, an interview on Friday, and many more that have now become pure figments of our imaginations.
The Psychology Department has just lost Professor Smikle at the start of the year, and now here we are again, grieving another loss to the York College family. I look at your sweet face and imagine how you must have radiated the world. So now as you depart from us, continue shining wherever you are.
I pray for all the grieving loved ones left behind and hope they can find solace in your precious memories to eventually fill the void.
