To our DEAR FRIEND of 48 plus years..to MY SECOND MOTHER..to my teacher and confident..who helped me not only in the Antiques business, but in life..YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US..LOVED AND MISSED ..YOU WILL ALWAYS BRING A SMILE TO OUR FACES!
We will never forget your "Jan-isms": those phrases of wisdom..that CUT TO THE TRUTH!.. For instance:
1. I am not complaining,I am explaining.
2.If one is good , 100 are better.
3. You have to eat off the shelves...
And my favorite...(WE SHARED A SECRET SIDE,,,OVER THOSE HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS...WE HAD OVER ALL THOSE WONDERFUL YEARS..)
5. "YOU CAN STICK THE UMBRELLA UP MY ASS, BUT DON'T TRY TO OPEN IT!"
THANK YOU..FOR ALL YOU HAVE GIVEN..
WE LOVE YOU, AL AND ROGER
And..WE ARE SURE YOU WILL SOON BE DOING A MALL SHOW IN HEAVEN WITH ED TASHMAN.

Jan was one of the "Grand Dames" of the Antiques business. A true LADY, in every sense of the word, well-respected and admired. She will be missed. A wonderful person with a great sense of humor, and full of good advice.
Thank you for everything you taught me, Jan. Especially the "rum balls" recipe.............
