The first time I met Mike was when you guys lived in your 1 BR. He was so concerned about setting up the living room to be just like a bedroom, and kept checking to make sure everything was perfect. The next morning he made one of the best breakfasts I'd ever had. He was so thoughtful, and such a real and honest person. I laughed so hard that weekend. Kathy, you are an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend; you are loved by so many. Hold tight to your beautiful memories and may you find peace in them.

I will always remember how Mike's humor and energy could breathe life into boring & mundane situations. I worked with Mike for a bit and he showed me warmth from the beginning (which is probably why everyone liked him). Mike's kindness and generosity defined him; He will be sorely missed. The world needs more people like him around, not fewer. My heart and wishes are there for his family.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike in person but I spoke with him many times on the phone over the past 7 years. He was always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and I really appreciated him as a colleague. I am shocked and saddened by his sudden passing.
