Obituary of Robert F. Norton

Robert F. Norton, age 67, of Franklin Square, NY passed away November 10, 2016 after a brave battle against cancer. Robert was born in Brooklyn, NY to Josephine and Martin Norton. He married the love of his life, Karen Malone in 1977. Robert was a proud employee of Federal Express for 33 years starting as a mechanic and retiring in 2014 as a Fleet Manager covering all five boroughs of New York City. In addition to the love for his family, Robert’s true passion was in maintaining and restoring cars, first working independently, and then proudly with his two sons. He also had a big heart for animals, especially his current dogs, Bear, Millie and his recent addition, Dolly. Robert is survived by his wife, Karen, his daughter Cindy (Billy), Robert Jr. (Noël), and Stephen (Krista). Grandchildren, Tatum, Billy and Robbie. Brothers, Roger (Doreen), Gerard (Camille), JoAnn (Paul), MaryEllen (John) and sister-in-law Sharyn (Louis) and brother-in-law, Frank (Donna) as well as; many other nieces, nephews and special friends. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Krauss Funeral Home in Franklin Square with viewing on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. A mass will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at St. Catherine of Sienna, Franklin Square at 11:30Am In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Robert F.
