I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the Guarascio family during this time of loss and suffering. I know that it is always hard to lose a loved one in death, but the bible promises that we will all have the opportunity to see our dead loved ones again by means of the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ. At Acts 24:15, it speaks of the memorial tomb being opened and the righteous and the unrighteous being resurrected. May this offer you some hope during your time of grief.

It was a candid shot at Alyssa's Graduation Party. I shouted, "Hey, Uncle Mike" . He looked and I was able to capture a moment that will last with me forever. It is the essence of him. He was always happy, always at every family event. Love you Uncle Mike.

I write the post with tears rolling down my face. I am heartbroken, devastated, sad and yes, angry that life isn't always fair. Heaven got yet another angel. I guess Aunt Pixie felt she needed you more than us. However, I can't help but disagree. If being my uncle wasn't enough, you were also my second father, a cherished friend, a confidant, the coolest uncle (by far), my big brother and more. The world and our family parties will never be the same. I cherish each and every moment that we spent together. My only regret is that I won't have any more moments. I am so happy that Alexa Persich and I got to spend quality time with you on Saturday. How I wish for just one more Saturday, one more conversation, one more hug, one more kiss, one more laugh and one more moment. My dearest uncle, I miss you already. You hold a unique and special place in my heart. Give Aunt Pixie a big hug and kiss from me. Until we meet again. Rest easy Uncle Mike I love you forever. To my cousins - everything Andrea said (well maybe not the kicking of Sal).

Dear Michael & Kim, Jen & John, Chris & Allison & all the kids,
We are truly sorry for your loss. We are all heartbroken over the passing our beloved Uncle Mike. Your parents wedding was the first I ever attended & to this day, your Mom was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. They have always had a special place in our hearts & were always there for us. Your Dad was not only an uncle to me, but a "Great" uncle to my kids in EVERY sense of the word. He was there not only for my birth, but was at the hospital as I gave birth to each of my children. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. We will love & miss him forever.
Now, to Uncle Mike...Your Yankees could use a little help. If you're not too busy with Aunt Pixie, try to help them out. Also, if you see Sal having too much fun, kick him.
Love you all,
Andrea & family
