It was with great sadness that I received the news of Nancy's passing. She was a very dear friend of my uncle, Dario Milazzo, who now resides in Massachusetts in assisted living. For a number of years she was one of the special people who looked out for him as he became less able to care for himself.It was a comfort to my sister and I who lived 200 miles away to know that Dario had such a good friend near by. She was very helpful to us as we prepared for Dario's move to Massachusetts. Even when he finally moved away from Long Island, she would send him cards and even came to visit him with her grandson. She was such an upbeat and positive person and I'm so glad that Dario had a good friend like Nancy and that my wife Moira and my sister Janet had the pleasure of getting to know her.
