I just saw this by accident. I am very saddened to hear of her passing.
I remember Ms. Haudberg when as a student, she first started teaching at H. Frank Carey HS. After graduation I would talk to her occasionally when I worked in Elmont and would see her and stop to say hello.
She was a lovely person. I remember her fondly and in school, some of the boys had a crush on her.
