Obituary of Dolores V. Ambrosino

Sadly, we announce the death of Dolores V. Ambrosino at the age of 91 on August 23, 2023. Dolores was born in New York, NY on December 13, 1931. She married Erasmus P. Ambrosino on March 3, 1957, and moved to Elmont, NY where she resided as of the date of her death. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Erasmus, who passed away on December 24, 2017 and by her brother, Thomas Andry. Dolores was a proud graduate of Washington Irving High School in Brooklyn, NY, and had a fulfilling career at Morgan Guaranty in New York City. She stopped working to raise her family and became deeply involved in her parish of St. Vincent de Paul, with her volunteer work for Chaminade High School and Columbia University, and in community activities with the North Valley Stream Republican Club. Dolores is survived by her sons, Mark Ambrosino and Edward Ambrosino, her daughter in laws, Rozan Padula-Ambrosino and Cherie Ambrosino, and her three grandchildren, Sophie Ambrosino, Jeb Ambrosino, and Clara Ambrosino. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, August 28, 2023 at the Krauss Funeral Home, 1097 Hempstead Tpke, Franklin Square NY 11010. A funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 9:45 am at St. Anthony's Church, 110 Anchor Ave., Oceanside NY 11572.
