Obituary of Vincenza Capobianco
Please share a memory of Vincenza to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our parents greet us when we first arrive into this world. Parents spend the greater portion of their lives preparing us for our lives. The only thing they cannot prepare us for is the emptiness in our hearts when they leave this world behind. It's like part of our soul is missing. We know that all our relatives of the past are rejoicing upon her arrival and she is in the tender loving hands of God.
We have our memories to reflect upon and albums of photos as we all shared special moments in her life. Some of the biggest smiles and the most joyful times were those spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She liked to sit around a good upstate fire, glass of wine in hand and reminisce with friends and family. She enjoyed upstate because it reminded her of earlier days of her youth growing up. She grew up in simpler times ,dirt roads playing with neighborhood friends. Her nickname was Babe because she was the youngest of the first four.
Vivian enjoyed cooking and baking. She worked as a clerk for the Nassau County Police Dept and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Dept. She was married for 69 years to Fred and had two children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.
