Reginald Berrisford Carwin passed away on Saturday August 12, 2023 at the Mercy Hospital in Rockville Center, on Long Island New York. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Krauss Funeral Home and burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, New York on Friday August 18, 2023 at 2:30 pm.
Mr. Carwin was born on May 29, 1936 in the parish of Westmoreland, on the Island of Jamaica. He worked for over two decades as a Correctional Officer with the General Penitentiary Correctional Facility in Kingston, Jamaica before migrating to the United States in the 1980’s. Here in the USA he had worked as a Security Officer with Lincoln Towers until his retirement. He was predeceased by his loving wife Florence.
