Rest In Peace, Lou
We grew up on Warwick Street in Brooklyn across from St. Michael’s. When I was 9 years old my family moved and we lost contact with each other for over 50 years until we became friends again on Facebook. I was so happy to see that you became such a successful guitarist. We used to listen to Beatles records and we both aspired to be great guitarist. Lou was my neighbor, we knew each other only a couple of years . We became good friends. As we all know Lou was a fantastic guitarist. He taught me quite a bit about music and music theory and he was a real good hearted person.
He will be missed, hopefully rocking that Les Paul in heaven.

With a heart heavy with grief, we remember Louis, a soul of endearing gentility and unparalleled intellect. His humor lightened up every room while his artistic prowess enthralled all. In high school, we discovered kinship in the laughter-filled corridors and shared artsy dreams. His guitar strums resonated alike our heartbeat rhythm. I met Lou 5 yrs. ago when he was playing with the Murphys. Lou was a great guy and was cool about me meeting him before the shows started. He showed me around back stage in Huntington at one of his shows. He sampled his effects pedals for me at another show at the beach club. Gone too young, God Bless, and RIP.

I met Lou over 40 years ago when he was playing with Tommy James.. he was a kind and humble soul despite his larger than life talent. We remained friends all these years.. I always looked forward to his posts and his kind responses to mine. Gone way too soon., but I know he is happy to see his loving parents again. May he rest in peace ❤️
