Everyone that met Greg loved him. To say he was a great guy is an understatement. He was kind, caring, was a great listener and had a heart of gold.
He was the true definition of a gentleman.
My family and I will cherish all the times we spent with Greg especially all the late night holiday Texas hold em games played, I will truly miss them. He wasn't only my brother n law, he was a friend. He made my sister a very happy wife and that made me happy.
Greg as well as his family are in our prayers.

I always felt a special connection to my Uncle Greg because he was more than just my uncle; he was my Godfather. I will always remember his sense of humor - I couldn’t help but find myself laughing in his presence. During this difficult time, I’m trying to combat the grief by remembering the positive moments during backyard BBQs, family holidays, and special occasions together.
One of my favorite things to do when I was little was to visit Uncle Greg at work when we would pick up my mom from Metro on Mondays. I loved going to his office to admire the tank of hissing cockroaches and hope that he would have insect or spider specimen for me to take home. I was definitely an odd kid, and looking back, I really appreciate that Uncle Greg would spend that time with me.
I wish I could have been around more over the past 13 years since I moved away from NY. I sincerely regret missing so many opportunities to create more memories with Uncle Greg and I will cherish the ones I have for eternity.

I am forever grateful, and fortunate to have been a part of Greg Zareks life, and to have him as a part of my life and family…He was a great person,husband ,Uncle father, brother and grandfather , friend,brother in law, that I looked to as like a brother. Greg and Jordanna A Couple Of Memories:
Greg was like a brother to me. We are the same age and became close. He stood up for me to the neighborhood bullies. Stood up for my honor by stopping rumors about me from the neighborhood boys. He warned me about the wrong boys. Always protecting my reputation and my heart from getting broken. He had my back and watched out for me all the time. And I in return warned him about the wrong type of girls.
All 6 of us cousins Daniella, Lori, Greg, Joey, Keith, and myself, grew up together. We spent a lot of time playing all kinds of different games that we made up. The Partridge family game is the one I remember most fondly, yes, I said “The Partridge Family”. We all had our rolls and of course Greg was Keith the lead singer and I was stuck being Tracy. Boy did Greg play his part seriously. While singing along with the record into his makeshift microphone, he would close his eyes and flip his hair. He would raise his arms and reach out to our make-believe audience. Like I said, really getting into his character. What a great visual memory, one I have always teased him about. From time to time, I find myself thinking of those great times spent together as kids. All of us together and creating such wonderful memories. I will keep them in my heart forever.
