Dolores Lyons, born March 19, 1937, passed away on June 11, 2023. She is survived by her loving children, Jaime Carcamo, Gilma Pinto, Marta Estela Carcamo, and Jimmy Pinto; her loving grandchildren, Jennifer, Carlos and Lori, Jimmy and Liz, Jamy, Joey, Jasmine, and Melanie; and her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Matthew, Trevor and Mateo, and her siblings, Esperanza and Miguel.

Dolores grew up in El Salvador and moved to Far Rockaway, NY, in the 1970s. She worked tirelessly to provide the American Dream for her family, providing them with opportunities beyond her wildest dreams. She sacrificed for her children and family and took all her joy in celebrating their happiness and accomplishments. Her love sustained them all and provided a foundation for the generations to come. We owe everything that we have to her.

Our family is grateful that Dolores is finally at peace and reunited with her oldest daughter, Patricia.

Services will be held at Krauss on June 14 from three to eight in the evening. Internment will follow on June 15 at Calverton National Cemetery, Riverhead, NY.
