I had the pleasure and great honor of knowing Mary Ambron through the American Legion Post 473, where she would attend with her wonderful friend, Hen Andersen. Mary was quite a lady. She was most kind to me, so warm, always ready to share a compliment and a smile. After my husband, Buzz, passed away, Mary was so kind to call me and check on me, to see how I was doing. She knew loss and she had great empathy. She would always share a wonderful memory with me of our chats and visits through the American Legion. When you got off the phone with Mary, you felt loved. I will miss hearing her voice and I will miss her thoughtful and sweet spirit. May she Rest in Peace. ~~Sincerely, Linda Rundlett, Long Island, New York

It's so hard to say goodbye to Mary. She's one of our favorite people either of us have met. We both will cherish the long evenings spent with her regaling us with (sometimes sordid) stories of her life. Truly one-of-a-kind and definitely one of the best! She will be greatly missed. Memory Eternal
