Met Sal when serving in the Army near Frankfurt Germany in 1957-58-59. We had adjacent bunks in the barracks so we got to know each other quite well. We became lifelong friends. Sal was a unique personality with with a lot of sayings that we called, "Tuddyisms". Sal & Gracie, along with Army friends, Sam & Pat Ioannucci , visited my wife Eileen & I in Colorado. We took a memorable road trip together through five Southwest States visiting many National Parks & points of interest along the way. We were interviewed & appeared on a PBS program that was filmed at the Grand Canyon. Eileen & I visited Sal & Family & Sam & Pat on several occassions and enjoyed every visit. Sal loved making wine & growing figs. Thank you Sal for adding to our lives & being the best of friends. Gary & Family
