Unc you were the best! One of a kind. Thank you for all that you did for John and the family, you leave behind so many good memories and happy times. I always loved your kind gentle heart, how you loved and how you cared for all of the Furbabies in your life…especially Pepper, Onyx and Val who all meant so much to you. I’m not sure you realized just how much you impacted so many people in your life. You were a quiet, steady and calm presence who often surprised me with your wit and humor. Just when I thought you weren’t really paying attention…then you would come up with a brilliant synapsis of what was actually going on in the room. Always a good conversation or debate to be had!!! Rest easy Uncle and I am honored to have known you. Love you, Mary

My Uncle…where do I even begin? You have always been my hero, the true definition of family, what a father should be. You were always there for us. You were patient, kind, giving, selfless…sacrificing your own happiness sometimes just to help our family survive when we found ourselves in desperate need. You taught us all the things we needed to know, not having a father as a positive figure in our lives. You always worked two jobs, helping us with the bills and not only providing us with meals but actually cooking meals for us sometimes. You made the the best meatballs ever, we still can’t replicate them no matter how hard we try! Where would we be without your love, nurturing, support and giving us an example of all that is good in the world? I want to thank you for all that you ever did for us. You were truly the “Dad” we never had. I am forever grateful for you being a positive influence in my life. Unc you took a part of my heart when you passed. You have given me an example to live by and someone to always look up to. I love you and miss you so much already. Mary and I are devastated but we promise to keep your memory alive. We will remember all of the good times in our lives that you were a part of. Rest peacefully Unc and we know you are together again up there with Art and Uncle Sonny and all of our beloved who have passed. -Love you eternally, John
