Frederico Giovanni Palumbo, aka Fred or Freddy, passed away from natural causes on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was 89 years old and is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carmela and his three daughters: Jennie Longobardi, Angela Palumbo and Victoria Palumbo. His grandchildren and great-child include Jeanette Longobardi, Laura Barone nee Longobardi, Stephanie Coy nee Norwood, Christopher Norwood and Jason Sanders Coy. Fred was a painter by trade and worked for many years for the NYC Parks Department. He was a loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
