Artie liked when I saw him and shouted his first name in full, "ARTHUR!", with a bit of a British accent. It was fitting, I always thought, since he was always the biggest presence in any room. He was a Knight of the first order in our realm. He was generous to the core (getting anyone who wanted it, a job at the Platduetsch), fiercely loyal & just a whole lot of fun to be around. And even with all his reckless bravado, he was prone to deep moments of thought and conversation. Everything was out in the open with Artie and we never had to guess what he was feeling. We could all do to carry a bit of "One Man" with us in our lives. My sincere condolences to the family and those closest to our friend and brother. Forever In The Bond, Kappa Theta 346.

I had the privilege of working with Artie for quite a few years.
I will say our conversations at work rarely were about work but instead filled with swapping stories of sports and gambling.
Even though we lost touch over the past decade he's one guy you just don't forget.
I'm glad I knew him.
My condolensces to his family and friends.

Dearest Lucille and Renee, There are no words or deeds that can express our sadness for you. Artie had a loving heart that he easily shared with those around him; making sure everyone was laughing or smiling. If they weren't, Artie could easily do or say something that remedied that situation. He wanted to make the world happy it seemed to me.
Alan and I will cherish each and every memory we have of Artie and it will be easy to add a smile along with our cherished memories of Artie.
We pray you find some peace in knowing your Artie meant so much to so many.
Love,
Alan and Linda Frasca

I had the privilege of meeting Artie while at Adelphi. We are brothers of the same fraternity. I haven't spoken to or seen him for many many year, but I did kept up through Facebook and other social media. The world is a sadder place now that he is gone. His spirit and zest for life will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to his family, his friends and for those few of us that we're lucky enough to have called him a brother in the bond. Say hello to Usch for us my brother..
