Obituary of Larry Henry Mazzoni

On Saturday, January 30, 2021, Larry H. Mazzoni, loving husband, father of four, and grandfather of twelve, passed away at the age of 89. Larry was born on March 13, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York to Theresa and Henry Mazzoni. He received an Associates Degree from Pace University in Business. He was drafted to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War and continued to serve our country for a total of thirty two years in the reserves. In addition to serving in the military he worked for thirty plus years as a Chauffeur Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service. On June 2, 1964, he married the love of his life, Marion Schober. They raised four children, Caroline, Lisa, Larry, and Pamela. Larry always had a positive outlook on life and never took anything for granted. He had a passion for spending quality time with his family. He enjoyed taking cruises with his wife, and was often invited by the cruise director to sing for guests. He also loved to sing during family weddings and events. Larry spent a lot of time at his summer house in Pennsylvania playing Bocce, spending time with family, and enjoying the great outdoors. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Henry, and his mother, Theresa. He is survived by his wife Marion, to which he was married 57 years, his four children, Caroline, Lisa, Larry, and Pamela, and twelve grandchildren. Larry will be most remembered for his tireless dedication to his Family, Country, and Career. His spirit will live on through his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on through all who knew him. We will be forever grateful for all Larry has done for us.
