We have so many happy memories of spending time together at each other's homes and fun places in and around New York City. We were very lucky to have known him. Freddie had such an endearing quality...my late husband and I liked him from the moment we met. We shared many good times, with our fondest being our trip to Alaska with Freddie and Annie. He was often seen reading just to pass the time and I admired him for his intellect and ability to have a conversation on any topic. Freddie had strong opinions but expressed them with genuine concern and empathy when it involved another person. That's what I loved most about him...he was a gentleman, sincere, honest, direct and yet supportive, when needed. His passing brings me sorrow and I will miss him, but I at least he is at peace now.
